Puzzlenest is a small, independent puzzle site. We make free daily word, number and logic puzzles that load fast, work on any phone, and never ask you to sign up.

What we make

Puzzlenest launched in October 2026 with four games and now has eleven, plus 4, 6 and 7-letter versions of Word Guess:

Every game has a daily puzzle that is the same for everyone, so you can compare results with friends, and an unlimited mode for practice. Past daily puzzles stay playable in the archive, and our puzzle guides explain the strategies behind each game.

What makes our puzzles different

  • Written for this site. Word Groups puzzles and crossword clues are written from scratch for Puzzlenest. We don't copy puzzles or clue databases from other publishers.
  • Fair by design. Sudoku and nonogram puzzles are checked by our software to make sure they have exactly one solution and can be solved by logic, without guessing. Every word ladder is checked to have a path through everyday words.
  • Everyday words. Answers come from lists of common English words. We remove obscure words, offensive words and simple plurals.
  • Built from scratch. Every game on the site is our own code, made to be light and quick, even on an old phone or a slow connection.

Your privacy

There are no accounts. Your stats, streaks and saved games are stored only in your own browser. We use Google Analytics to understand which games people enjoy, and the site is supported by ads from Google AdSense. See our privacy policy for details.

How the site is funded

Advertising keeps every puzzle free. We keep ads away from the game boards, so they never get in the way of play.
